Paper!

The possibilities.

Your creativity doesn't need to stop when it comes down to choosing your paper.

Here are some ideas!

Choose paper that's going to have a whole other life cycle. Seeded papers are becoming more and more viable, plant them in soil once you have no more use for them and wait for your saplings to grow!

Check out Frogmore Paper Mill and Botanical Paperworks.

Do you know how much waste is left over in the textile manufacturing process? Do you know that it doesn't have to be waste?

This special textured paper is 15% wool or cotton that has been saved from the bin.

The wool is particlarly beautiful foiled or embossed.

The cotton is like 'crisp laundry' and suits all printing techniques.

Refit is FSC ceritifed, includes 40% post-consumer recycled waste topped up with 15% cotton or wool fibres - as well as using 100% hydro-electric energy produces in-house. Does it get better than that?

If you're looking for something to last, you're going to want a paper or card with a high gsm (grams per square metre).

This gives you loads of options, with a sturdier stock your design can take on new life forms!

We love this business card idea on the left, wouldn't that stand out so much more in your purse/wallet? It also seems to us like it would be perfect for sticking in the soil and labelling your plants!

Folding can give many different types of products more of an edge. Even as adults we love to play with things. Click the link below to get some real inspiration- come back to us with a challenge!

The texture of paper can add so much more depth to your design. For instance, this paper looks like leather- it's soft and luxurious.

In reality, it's embossed paper. The thought behind it will not go unnoticed.
