A Better Christmas.

Sustainable doesn't equal scrooge.

We LOVE to consume.

We value being able to give gifts and make big meals for our families and turning our houses into  winter wonderlands.

And there's nothing wrong with that!

We could just be doing it better.

Here are some tips.

One Big Gift.

Simple!

Forget all the extra bits and pieces you feel you need to buy to buff out a present, one thoughtful 'main' gift is just as appreciated.

Decorations

You really don't need lots of new stuff every year!

Make it a tradition that you go out and buy that one special new bauble from a cute local shop.

Better yet, make some!

Get the kids involved or some pals round for some mulled wine and give that pile of old magazines and newspapers you keep for no reason a new lease of life by making some paper chains or bunting.

Lights

Pick battery powered LEDs!

They are much more energy efficient, better for the planet and your pocket.

Plus you don't need to work miracles making them reach a plug socket...

Wrapping Paper.

Can you image the mountains of wrapping paper that get dumped every year?

Craft paper is totally recyclable.

Personalise it other ways, your efforts will be noticed!

Secret Santa

We aren't saying you and your friends shouldn't exchange gifts.

But do you really care for that £5 tat Jeff from accounting is going to be forced to buy you?
