The Monograph of Polish Dance Theatre

This week we have taken some major inspiration from graphic designer Ryszard Bienert. Bienert runs 3group graphic studio in PoznaĆ, Poland and has been brought to our attention through the dazzling Monograph of Polish Dance Theatre 1973-2018.
This photographic book documents the history and evolution of the art and uses style and character in the book itself to reflect the emotion in the photographs. Printed with offset printing, the book has six additional Pantone colours including fluorescents and metallics. It features a hardback cover which is made from canvas as well as two types of PVC fake leather which was then embellished with a hot stamping technique in gold and silver foil.
Overall the book features 20 different types of paper and is a culmination of the efforts of a great designer, great photographers and great authors to create an elegant and playful publication.
This is the kind of work that gets us excited here as Love & Humphries, if you dream of mixing stocks and creating something really special, get in touch.
